Hi guys! I have a great holiday time saving tip that I just have to share with you today. We’ve barely cracked the first week of December, and this has already saved my skin.
You ready for it?
This year we’re going to pre-make our cookie dough.
Then we’re going to roll it into balls.
We’re going to squeeze as many of those cookie dough balls as we can into a single layer on a cookie sheet, and we’re going to freeze them for 1-2 hours.
Once the balls are frozen, we’ll transfer them to gallon-sized freezer bags, and put them back in the freezer.
Then, when its time to hit our first Christmas party, assemble our cookie trays, bring a hostess gift, or add something to the sweets table at work, we’ll be ready. Bake just as many as you need of the frozen cookie dough balls according to the recipe instructions. We’ll just need to add an extra 2-3 minutes to the baking time to account for the fact that the dough is colder than normal.
That’s it. Fresh baked cookies in minutes, any day of the week.
Trust me friends, this trick is a lifesaver!
XOXO,
Tall One
